Press Ctrl+Shift+A in any app on your computer and speak: the text lands in the window where you started recording, already with commas, full stops and capital letters. A Windows and macOS app.
How voice typing works
1. Press the hotkey
Press Ctrl+Shift+A in any app and Voisee starts recording. You can change the hotkey in settings, and Esc cancels the recording.
2. Speak
The recording goes to our GPU server. The model adds punctuation and capital letters, and if text cleanup is turned on in settings, it removes filler words and slips of the tongue.
3. The text appears in the window
Voisee pastes the text into the window where you started recording. It also stays in the clipboard and in the app history.

The Windows and macOS app lives in the system tray and waits for the hotkey, so you do not need to keep a window open.
- Ctrl+Shift+A starts recording; you can change the hotkey in settings, and Esc cancels the recording.
- A second hotkey pastes the text and sends it right away.
- What you dictate stays in the clipboard and in the app history.
- Text cleanup fixes spelling, grammar and terms and removes filler words and slips of the tongue; the style adapts to the app, be it a messenger, email or a code editor. You turn it on in settings: by default the text arrives as recognised.
Command Mode: edit selected text by voice
Select text in any app and say what to do with it: “make it shorter”, “translate into English”, “make it more formal”. The result replaces the selection. Desktop app only.
Free and paid
Dictation is on the Free plan: 60 min a week, no card needed.
Text polishing and command mode work on paid plans; Free is speech recognition only.

How do I turn on voice typing on Windows 11?
There is nothing to switch on in the system: download the Voisee app for Windows from the download page, start it and press Ctrl+Shift+A. The app lives in the system tray.
Can I dictate in the browser without installing a program?
Not without installing anything: you need the Voisee app for your computer (Windows or macOS) or for an Android phone, which you get on the download page. The desktop app pastes text into any window, the browser included.
